Quick Takes...

• Sunday, February 5th will be our annual "Souper Bowl Sunday" [coincidently the same day as the Super Bowl] where we collect an extra offering for the needy in our community. Come see how our children make this event fun. 
• Sunday, January 22nd was a jam-packed day! We welcomed our Newest Members who have joined our church or transferred from another in the past few months.  
• Then, we held our Annual Congregational Meeting afterwards, upstairs in the sanctuary. We discussed our growth for the past year, vision for the next, and voted on our annual budget.  
• Sarah Penttila is still collecting names of young women who would like to get together once or twice a month for coffee and sharing. She can be reached at (864) 940-4585. 
• Pastor Dan will soon be back to teaching a Wednesday night Bible study on Prayer in February. 
• Want to know more about the Christian faith and what it means to be a part of DuPont Community Presbyterian Church? Look for our next WELCOME TO THE FAMILY class sometime in the next two months.

• Want to get to know more people in our church? Sign up for the "Dinners for Six" at the back of the church, new series begins in January, 2012.
• Pray for our men and women in uniform. Two men from our church were deployed (Greg McCrum and Chris Morse). Greg has returned safely home. Chris Morse is still in Afghanistan. Pete Bazo left in November for a year in Afghanistan. Keep them and their families in your prayers.
