Pastor Dan has begun a new series of messages, based upon the book of Philippians.  The Apostle Paul wrote this book  to the church at Philippi, a city that was the gateway to Europe from the middle east.  The first three converts were Lydia, a servant girl, and a Roman jailer. All three were from different religions and social status.  Paul visited this city and ensuing church at least three times and wrote this letter from a prison cell, likely in Rome.  Despite his confinement, Paul's letter to the Philippians emphasizes the theme of "joy" throughout this wonderful book.
